Grenade Shell HC100

A WW2 British issue hand grenade shell missing pin and fuse. Basic pineapple with two segments on the top to support the fuse and pin mechanism with a groove at the rear of the shell.

Grenades were first thrown in the 15th Century, however by the 1800s they were no longer in use. In the 20th Century they made a come back starring in the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905) and WW1, WW2.
